Our History
The Foundation Years (1990s)
The journey of The Ideal Schools began modestly in the early 1990s, rooted in strong educational values and family-based learning environments. The foundational years took shape at 1, Busary, Alarape Layout, Ibadan, Oyo State, within the residence of EDKO, notably under the guidance and influence of Baba Orunbato and Mama Orunbato of blessed memory.
Expansion & Growth
The vision was further nurtured in another educational home at Solomon Awolaja Street, Agoro Road, Owode Ijako, Sango Ota, within the residence of Baba and Mama Ataba. These homes served as informal learning centres, producing infant learners and WAEC candidates, and laying a strong academic and moral foundation.
Multi-Location Development
The union of ideas, values, and experiences from these educational homes led to the expansion of learning initiatives, including the establishment of an educational centre in Abuja. This progressive journey expanded our educational footprint across multiple locations.
Modern Era (2024 - Present)
The formal establishment of The Ideal Schools in Abeokuta North, Ogun State, in 2024 marked the beginning of a new chapter. Today, The Ideal Schools operates as a full-fledged educational institution offering learning from Pre-Primary through Primary to Secondary School, with growing enrolment and a clear anticipation of post-secondary educational expansion.
